As with other Bardstown Audio sampled instruments, these Fender Precision and Jazz Basses are of the very highest quality and totally indistinguishable in sound and playability from having a real bass musician playing these instruments. The Bardstown Audio Fender Basses collection provides all possible sounds that can be obtained from Fender Precision and Fender Jazz Basses. These beautiful Fender Basses were setup with both Round Wound and Flat Wound strings for the sample recordings process and extensively sample recorded with both of these string setups with different pickup setting combinations in order to provide ALL of the essential sounds that can be obtained from these instruments. In all of the sample recordings of these basses using round wound strings, flat wound strings, and various pickup settings combinations, all notes were chromatically sample recorded. There are also release note off samples in all of these Fender Bass instruments that provide the sound of the finger coming off of the finger board, which provide a great deal of realism and character to these basses. The volume levels of these release note off samples can be adjusted in all the various software samplers by raising or lowering the volume of the release note off sample groups in order to suit individual preferences and tastes for all various music styles, just as you can also do with THE BASS and Vintage Jazz Guitars And Tenor Banjos from Bardstown Audio. All of these Fender Bass instruments were sample recorded at 24 bit 96k through the DI inputs of Avalon M5's and Benchmark 2496 A/D converters in order to provide the very highest sound quality, so whether you record at 24 bit 96k, 24 bit 192k, 24 bit 88.2k, 24 bit 48k, or 24 bit 44.1k, you have the very highest quality. These Fender basses were setup with premium strings for the sample recordings... DR Round Wound Strings and Thomastik-Infeld Flat Wound Strings, which are the very best strings made in order to provide the highest quality sounds. With the Bardstown Fender Jazz & Precision Basses collection there are a total of NINE distinctly different Fender Bass instruments containing variations of both round wound and flat wound strings and with multiple tone and pickup volume settings, four of which are Fender Precision Basses and five Fender Jazz Basses. You DO hear very distinct differences between these NINE different instruments. Most other sampled electric bass libraries only include just ONE electric bass instrument, NOT NINE completely different Electric Bass Instruments as in the Bardstown Fender Basses. The Bardstown Fender Jazz and Precision Basses collection is 3.77 gigabytes. Our beta testers on these Fender instruments have told us that none of the other major software bass collections that are available have captured the sound of Fender Basses as well as these new Fender Basses from Bardstown Audio. We frequently receive similar comments from many of our customers from around the world on all of our other Bardstown Audio sampled instruments as well. |
